Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 27 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Folio (the “Service”) — a platform for creating and ordering premium printed photo albums. By creating an album, placing an order, or otherwise using Folio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Your account
You can start using Folio as a guest, or sign in with Google or an email address. Placing an order may require a verified mobile number as the fulfilment contact. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to place an order.
2. Your photos and content
You keep all rights to the photos and text you upload. You grant Folio a limited licence to store, process, adapt (for example: generate web-resolution previews and thumbnails, apply your crops and edits), and print that content solely to provide the Service and fulfil your orders. You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or break the law.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Folio to upload or order content that is:
- unlawful, infringing, or violates someone’s privacy;
- abusive, or that you do not have the rights to reproduce;
- intended to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
4. Orders, pricing and payment
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) at checkout and include the product as described at the time of order. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider; Folio does not store your full card details. An order is confirmed only once payment is successfully captured. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, on suspected fraud or a pricing error) and refund any amount charged.
5. Reward wallet and referrals
Reward-wallet credits and referral rewards have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and may be applied only towards eligible orders. We may adjust or reverse credits issued in error or through misuse.
6. Printing, shipping and delivery
Albums are printed by our print partner and shipped across India. Delivery timelines are estimates. Because each album is printed to order, small variations in colour and trim between the on-screen preview and the finished print are normal and are not defects.
7. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Albums are custom-made to your design, so an order generally cannot be cancelled once it has entered production. If your album arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we will arrange a reprint or refund at our discretion.
8. Our intellectual property
The Folio platform — its software, design, and brand — belongs to Folio and its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you. Your content remains yours (see section 2).
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Folio available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Folio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
